At the Cafe! Chapter 4

At the rooftop!

Enaya was so lost into her writing, that she didn't recognized that it's 6:00 pm. She stretched herself a bit, drawn her kohl eyes to the counter, slightly turning as if she was just relaxing looked for Jay.
Jay was engrossed into some calculation, his fingers were hitting the calculator and he caught her looking at him
Enaya quickly acted and drawn her eyes off, took her phone and unlocked it.

Her phone was filled with all the missed notification, and she was confused how she missed this.
"How can i assist you Ma'am" Jay standing beside her, holding a note and a pen and a cute smile
"No No, I I I am ok! Thanks" Enaya still trying to figure out what happened to her phone
"Okay, you won't mind having a coffee and wedges" Jay went off saying this without her reply

All this notification were from Meet, saying sorry for not making up as his girlfriend broke her arm during dance rehearsals, so he has to be with her.
Enaya was badly broken, she was feeling to shout to smash everything present there, her anger was knowing no limit.

" Here you go girl" Jay placed coffee and wedges on her table
Enaya badly shouted on him saying not to get so personal, not to care for her, all boys are same, boys never understand anyone's feeling and by serving me what you want to prove! Look I am just a stupid girl who fooled herself from last 12 years and you cannot even know how it feels damn...
She poured all her anger on him threw the plate on wedges, grabbed her bag and went off.

Jay was still not having clue what went wrong, all the people at the cafe were starring him and he was absolutely embarrassed, and he was enable to escape that weird situation.

Enaya was fighting with her feelings, but her tears were at no halt, on the other hand she was feeling very bad that she shouted on Jay for no reason. She was explaining herself that Meet anyhow doesn't mean anything to her, and she could not hurt anyone due to him. She asked her warden to go out and she promised to return withing half an hour. Warden rules were strict and are same for everyone, so she was not permitted to go out.

"It's been 2 years Enaya I have never seen you so worried, is everything ok?" Kamya her room mate trying to figure out her dilemma but Enaya ignored her and walked out of the room and went to the inhouse Church.

She sat with a candle, lit it up and placed on the bench. Calm, silent and eyes full of hopes and tears, words were not making any way to come out, she opened her palm and starred at that old candy stick.
She smiled and placed back from where it was out safely.
"You would be there with me forever" kissed her diary sleep arrived into her eye.

She woke up early before the sun, got ready and thought from today she would be living her new life, she would not think of Meet, blocked his contact and she blocked him from all social media apps.
She attended her regular classes and was confused whether to visit cafe or not, but in the end she as having guilt of shouting on Jay.

She visited the cafe, took her regular table and was waiting for her regular order to be served, she was also looking for Jay, but she could not see him. An attender of the cafe came to take order and she got very surprised meanwhile she could sense that she would not be treated the same.

"A coffee and a garlic" and she heard a voice of Jay, she quickly turned back and called up Jay
Jay tried to ignore her, she got up from the table and said sorry. Jay ordered the cafe attender to look out other customers. He still ignore Enaya's sorry asked to excuse him as he has got some work.
Enaya was expecting this, and was disappointed, went back to the table and started to blog.

"Here is your coffee and garlic bread Ma'am, I hope this time you won't my crockery, I understood wedges are not your favorite"
"Jay I am really sorry, I like wedges too, it's just I should have control myself, I am really sorry, and I am ready to pay whatever you ask"
"Whatever" Jay asked in notorious tone.
"Yaa, Mmm, I hope its kinda normal one right?"
"Not at all" Jay being scariest whispered into her ears
Enaya was little uncomfortable but was knowing nothing can go wrong during day light.
"Go ahead, how much this plate cost? and the wedges also you can charge"
"Well in this 2 years I have seen you drinking behind the backyard of my cafe, let's have it together once this cafe is off after 8, maybe we can have dinner together, and it would be absolutely free"
Little did she know that Jay was aware about all her activity but she agreed because she feel comfortable in his company.
"Is it you asking it for a date with me"
"That I leave upto you you what you think about it, I only meant for drinking partner" Jay smirked.

Enaya made an excuse that his friend is met with an accident and would not be able to come to hostel tonight and switched off her cell.
Cafe was all vacant by 8:00 pm, and there big show time began.
Jay plugged beautiful soft songs, made a table, switched off the lights, placed the wine and champagne bottle and a punjabi dish, Cholle Bhaturre.
Soon lights were switched only. Enaya got scared, asked to switch on the lights to which Jay replied only candle lights are allowed when I am the host.

"Be comfortable Enaya, I know what's going in your head" 
"No, you are wrong"
"Oh so you want me to kiss you? I thought I should not kiss you, is what hurdling your mind" Jay making fun of her.

Soon they both jump on the food like a hunger lion getting his food, opened the bottles and they enjoyed the night sitting at the roof top with the bottle and first time they introduced themselves and talked about their lives.

Moolights are more brighter than those morning sun
Stars are more cozier than those blankets
And a friend on the rooftop at 2 am are more closer
Than sea and its waves!
