I wrote a letter to tell you I Love You!

The only day of the Love is here of every year,

Love decorated with heart-shaped balloons some in hotels or some in rooms

Fancy candlelight dinners just to say thank you for being that person of all the coming years.

I wish if you could be here, this day would be much more than what I mentioned

I wish if we could chill our beer bottles and then we both could get drunk

And count those stars, laugh out loud shattering the burden of our routines

They say every day is valentine if the person is right,

But we all know we can’t measure the amount of love to give or take

Because nothing remains permanent, and perhaps love too

We often forget to find love in those tiny things we do in a relationship

Where one packed lunch and other filled the bottles,

One toasted the bread while others swiped the floor

Sharing toothbrush when one misplaced, just to avoid getting late for office and others understand

Shouting for a scarf or for hankie and other knew it was just there,

How we don’t consider this the pattern of our routines

While we cook, care and share things with each other,

Love is not only lying next to each other, but it is more about what makes you alive for the next busy day

It is also about the insecurities and affirmatives, since they say little fights spice up the day

It doesn’t have to be all fancy each day because sometimes a simple English is all the way

It is not complicated as those of Norman Lewis asking you to dig the roots,

It is as simple as those Navneet Rhymes which we still learned by heart

So loving is the new Learning just like we use the hashtags as the yellow is the new back

We are a happy generation to choose a person to keep and leave

A generation better than Orkut's and the BBM’s, swipe right, swipe left is all we have

Single, Committed, mingle, complicated is just a status to your social media account

Because you know when your heartache for your first friend, first crush, first love

Not just this, for your - the first day at the office, the first trip and what not first of yours, you just know it

Admire those first of your life because you still remember as it was the first time you fell in love with yourself and it is this time when you have your love in your life

Celebrate this day with a little extra effort, to thank that person who admires you to be truly yours

Make this valentine special just like every other lover DO!
